Npecia 5 is manufactured by Saint Michael Biotech. The drug’s active ingredient contains a reductase inhibitor called finasteride (commonly called Propecia), which is used to treat hair loss in men. The drug reduces dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is the main hormone that is directly responsible for hair loss. Bodybuilders use Finasteride in cycles when DHT levels have the possibility to rise above the normal level, increasing the chance of baldness.
PROPERTIES AND EFFECTS OF FINASTERIDE
DHT accumulating in the hair follicles results in dystrophy and the gradual narrowing of the follicle until hair eventually stops growing until the follicle eventually dies.
DHT needs the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase in order to form so Finasteride, being a reductase inhibitor, prevents DHT from forming in the hair follicles and it successfully stops the cause of baldness.
We recommend a dosage of no more than 1 tablet (5mg) per day. Taking higher doses than recommended does not improve the effect of the treatment and will increase the risk of negative side effects.
Treatment with the drug for several months is necessary to replace thinned hair and to achieve a noticeable improvement so the period of use should be least 12 weeks at the minimum.
SIDE EFFECTS OF FINASTERIDE
If the drug is abused, the user may experience the following side effects:
- A decrease in libido.
- Lack of ejaculation.
- Chest pain.
- Local reactions (itching, rashes, swelling of the lips and face, soreness in the testicles).
The drug is not recommended for use by young mothers during lactation because there is no information about whether the active substance enters the breast milk or not.
Finasteride should not be used by men who have prostate diseases.
